• discuss with him or her what he or she is learning in the confirmation program.
• be ready and willing to listen to his or her questions and concerns about what he or she is learning.
• keep our family involved in the life and ministries of the church.
• see that prayer and devotion are daily habits in our household.
• be for him or her an example of an adult Christian with an honest and maturing faith.

As __________'s parent or guardian, I do not need to:

• have all the answers.
• have a scholarly knowledge of Scripture and Christian theology.
• be perfect.
